Biodiversity and Agricultural Program for Cabo Delgado
Mozambique – The Augustinian Sisters “Hermanas Agustinas Hijas del Santísimo Salvador en Mozambique” and “Congregação Agostiniana Missionária De Assistência E Educação” have been working in Mozambique for many years and are developing projects in various fields: education, agriculture and food, human rights and reforestation.
In the north of the country they work with displaced people fleeing cyclones and Islamic terrorist attacks.
We are coming to the end of the project “Biodiversity and Agricultural Program for Cabo Delgado“.
In the last year we have trained 175 women in agricultural techniques
- given them equipment
- created 8 working groups
- developed an awareness program on environmental issues in which more than 500 people participated.
