Leo XIV and the Augustinians across the World Foundation
We are happy to share with joy that the new Pontiff is His Holiness Robert Francis Prevost, Leo XIV, coming from our beloved Augustinian Order! 🙏
A special bond unites Pope Leo XIV to our Foundation. It was during his mandate as Prior General that the office for social projects was created and the Augustinian General Curia was recognized as an NGO at the United Nations in ECOSOC.
It was he who laid the foundations for the birth of the Augustinians across the World Foundation ETS (@osafund), the only foundation desired and created by the General Curia of the entire Order of Saint Augustine. A tangible sign of our global commitment!
A moment of great pride and renewed hope for all of us. Let us pray for the Holy Father in his new and important ministry.
