Medivac Srl Società Benefit is a leading company in the design and construction of systems for the collection of EBC (Exhaled Breath Condensate) samples. Its system called “NaCLO30” is capable of producing electrolytic sodium hypochlorite on site, an extremely effective sanitizer/disinfectant in aqueous solution.
Our collaboration aims to combat child labor and the health emergency in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
In DRC, thanks to our presence in the area and the collaboration with Medivac, we have managed to bring NaCLO technology to those areas. Naclo Project is an ambitious project that considers health as an essential requirement for the development of countries like the DRC, and also embraces educational, micro-entrepreneurship and profit-non-profit international cooperation initiatives.
To combat child labor, the aim was to support the economic stability of families, in particular women, who, made aware of the opportunity, agreed to leave their children free to attend school.
A cleaning cooperative was born: the cooperative’s operators were trained and equipped to also deal with the sanitization of environments.
It is in this context that the donation from MEDIVAC Srl Società Benefit took place in March 2023. Thanks to the NaCLO30 system, the cooperative’s operators have managed to independently produce the electrolytic sodium hypochlorite essential for personal and environmental sanitisation, drastically reducing the costs of purchasing the disinfectant, and consequently increasing revenues. The members of the cooperative reacted enthusiastically to the donation given the ease of use of the NaCLO30 technology.
